The science is quite astonishing when one takes the time and effort to study the human body as a whole. It becomes evident that the auto-immune process is disastrously misunderstood.

The initial immune disruptions that are created begin very unassumingly and are very difficult to detect. The fire that is slowly being built gives off very little heat, flame and smoke in the early stages. The aggressive nature of our immunity may turn against our own body as the immune system is inundated with the many foreign assaults by toxins and internal turmoil that adds to the burgeoning fire. Mainstream medicine has, to some extent, attempted to smother the flames. This process breaks down fat, allowing this fat to be easily eliminated. This innovative and effective, but not well known treatment consists in an application of certain medicine that is injected in the certain areas of your body where fat or cellulite is mostly stored, afterwards, optionally, an ultrasound is performed. The ultrasound and medicine combined produces the warming effect that burns up localized fat. This combination produces an explosion that loosens and ruptures these fat cells and eliminates them through the lymphatic and blood stream; it also breaks up fibrosis, which plays a very important role in the formation of cellulite.

Lipoclasia treatments, with or without the ultrasound, can be combined with Mesotherapy, where we can focus directly not only on the number but also the size of each fat cell.

Most of the patients treated have excessive subcutaneous fat (beneath the skin) including cellulite. For these patients, a layer by layer treatment involving injections into parts of the body with considerable, stubborn, localized fat deposits, which are then broken down and released (Spot Reduction). The injections consist of vitamins, herbs and homeopathics into the the skin and fatty tissues. The breakdown products are  then eliminated through sweat, urine or stools, over a period of two weeks.

AMAZING RESULTS, SOMETIMES BETTER THAN LIPOSUCTION! Some people see results after the first treatment some after three.

At the end of the initial two week period, 1-2cms should be lost in the treated area. Follow up sessions are carried out for areas with larger fatty deposits in order to achieve the desired size, since the allowable amount of Lipodissolve per treatment is limited.

Some people get better results than others, as with any medical procedure. To get the best results treatments should be administered once a week. We have also noticed that patients that have good elimination ( one to two bowl movements a day) get better results. Simply because fats are eliminated via the stools.

Exercise is strongly suggested, as is a healthy metabolic diet. If you do not practice these lifestyle factors then you may not be ready for this treatment. If you exercise or engage in any activity that makes you sweat, you’ll need to drink extra water to compensate for that fluid loss. Also, adding a B-complex to metabolize the fats (available at most health food stores). Exercise at least three times a week to encourage the metabolism and circulation. Mesotherapy is not a substitute for diet or exercise.

Humoral Phase represents a biological appropriate attempt of the organism to excrete the offending homotoxin or store it in the Matrix (mesenchyme) for later Excretion. No permanent cellular damage has yet taken place. These three phases are considered completely reversible

Cellular Phase represents an attempt of the organism to adapt to a state of increasing chronic homotoxicosis. Why is it that while individuals within a group of people (e.g., a family) may have a common genetic tendency to develop a disease, only some of them will actually develop the illness while others won’t? And why is it that virulent bacteria can be found in certain people, of whom only a few will actually become infected and sick?

These two examples show us that diseases are caused by factors other than just a certain genetic background or the mere presence of an infective agent (e.g., bacteria or virus). For every alteration in the homeostatic balance there corresponds a body reaction having a healing process or a pathological process. Both the processes are the expression of the organism’s ability to adapt.

In case of pathological process, the adaptation causes the stressor to affect the are area outside the cells or the cell itself, which then leads to the altered production of biological molecules and the inefficient deterioration in recovering the physiological homeostasis.

Various studies indicate that stress events or breakdown of psychological defenses are related to the onset of allergic, autoimmune, infectious, cancer, digestive, heart and circulatory, and other illnesses. The decline of immune function through stress may be responsible for the ability of pathogens and toxins to cause infection or of a genetic trait to become expressed as an actual disease. Abnormal activation of the sympathetic nervous system (the “get-up-and-go” nervous system) in response to stress negatively affects the digestive tract thusly affecting the defense system of the digestive tract and the immune system in general.

The same mind-body mechanism that causes disease can work in the reverse direction and enhance health. This is called, Progressive and Regressive Vicariation, respectively.

What must not be misinterpreted is that acute inflammation, usually treated as ‘abnormal ‘ by conventional (allopathic) medicine is actually an attempt of the body to cleanse itself of disruptive homotoxins.

Chronic inflammation on the other hand is not normal or beneficial and can be the result of recurrent infection intoxication, or allopathic (pharmaceutical) suppression. Our answer is that the most correct treatment must be in accordance with the laws of biological nature. Prudent applications of therapies that are most congruent with such laws will inherently and naturally always address the fundamental cause. Ill-aligned philosophy to assessment treatment will be directed at signs and symptoms and will by its incorrect approach to the human body miss the cause.

As a Naturopathic Doctor practicing and adhering to the philosophies of Biological Medicine, I must stress the importance of understanding our bodies response to stress and the ensuing course of “dis-ease”. Only by shifting our perspective from a paradigm of quick-relief medications to one of understanding and trust in body’s innate wisdom will our individual and collective health improve.
